NEW MINI 9:1 UNUN SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT WITH 10M OF RG 174 COAX WITH BNC PLUGS FITTED
Designed for SOTA activities and portable ops this super light weight unun and the RG 174 feeder only weigh in around 156grams (approx).
The RG 174 mini coax is a 10m length and is terminated with a BNC plugs on either end.
Simply connect one end of the feeder to the UNUN and the other to your transceiver.
2 light weight insulators are included in the pack, all yOu need is some light weight wire and a radio .
Use your own length and choice of wire as an element ,in our testing we found 51ft to be a good random length to allow operation on 40M through to 10M using the internal ATU on a FT 991 transceiver (on low power of course) with a ground spike.
Situations will of course vary depending on the gauge and length of wire you select for your radiating element as well as the length of your counterpoise/ how good your earth is.
The UNUN will handle 25 watts PEP so is ideal it is for FT 817 series, IC 703, IC 705 KX2,KX3 and the Chinese QRP radios.
